One blog every week, dedicated to the health, food, lifestyle wellness and Ayurveda , is what I am following religiously from almost 1.5 years now. The subject was never the issue.
So many things to pen yet and so many subjects ,topics requests pour in from readers everyday.
But today I sat almost for two hour and couldn’t decide a single topic or could type a single word.A typical block I was experiencing in my mind. Music is always a solution in such situation for me.
Yes I switched to it and read some beautiful poems, heard some great band’s tracks.
I came across some really sensitive, meaningful, disturbing but beautiful songs.
When its poem or song we always think of Rain,Love, beauty, nature, fun, relation ,heartbreak etc.
Have you ever read, heard or imagine a poem or a song on a doctor and patient.
I did.Somehow I felt like I must share them with the readers.sharing two songs on the one of the most important person in your life .YES,A DOCTOR!!
So no typical health blog this week. Lets enjoy the magic of words and lyrics.
The pain ,the illness every time may not be necessarily physical. The mind, the brain and the burden game is always on in human.
This song speaks up the psychological aspect of patients complaints. The eyes are his tools to experience the good and bad in the world. And now filled with various emotional turbulence he complaints about his eyes.
A perfect kaleidoscope of emotions every doctor should consider while treating!
A beautiful song
Doctor, my eyes have seen the years
And the slow parade of fears without crying
Now I want to understandI have done all that I could
To see the evil and the good without hiding
You must help me if you canDoctor, my eyes
Tell me what is wrong
Was I unwise to leave them open for so long‘Cause I have wandered through this world
And as each moment has unfurled
I’ve been waiting to awaken from these dreamsPeople go just where they will
I never noticed them until I got this feeling
That it’s later than it seemsDoctor, my eyes
Tell me what you see
I hear their cries
Just say if it’s too late for meDoctor, my eyes
Cannot see the sky
Is this the prize
For having learned how not to cry

The second song below has so many stories, meaning and various versions of lyrics too. The original lyric by UFO is put here.
Imagine a helpless drug addict fully under the control of the substance abuse. What must he/she be pleading or thinking when he or she visits the doc for help?
In the following song the word She is not used as female or girlfriend or love. She is the addiction in this song.
Hope you feel the pain through this one classics of UFO band released in 1983.
Album: In To The Gap.
Artists: Thompson Twins.
“Doctor, Doctor”
(originally by UFO)Doctor doctor, please, don’t you know I’m goin’ fast
Doctor doctor, please, don’t you know I just can’t live
She walked up to me and really stole my heart
And then she started to take my body apart[Chorus:]
Livin’ lovin’ I’m on the run
So far away from you
Livin’ lovin’ I’m on the run
So far away from youDoctor doctor, please, don’t you know I just can’t live
Doctor doctor, please, don’t you know I’m goin’ fast
It’s only just a moment
She’s turning paranoid
That’s not a situation for a nervous boyDoctor doctor, please, don’t you know I’m goin’ fast
Doctor doctor, please, don’t you know I just can’t live
But you look so angry as I crawled across your floor
She’s got the strength, and I can’t take any more[Chorus:]
Doctor doctor, please, don’t you know I’m goin’ fast
Doctor doctor, please, don’t you know I just can’t live
But you look so angry as I crawled across your floor
She’s got the strength, and I can’t take any more
